Example

This example shows the procedure for control 0 over vlan 710 only.

  1. user SSH connect to the TMG
  2. Telnet on telecom section of the Tmedia
  3. Use 'set_boot'
    1. modify eth0 IP addresses
    2. Modify eth0 netmask
    3. Set the eth0 gateway to the same IP as eth0 IP address
  4. Validate your values with the 'print_boot' command
  5. reboot
  6. Back on the host section, Change the file /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-vlan710
    1. Modify IPADDR
    2. Modify NETMASK
    3. save file
  7. stop toolpack => 'tbtoolpack stop'
  8. restart network service => 'service network restart'
  9. start toolpack => 'tbtoolpack start'
