The DPC Length parameter is used to set a format for the destination point code (DPC) according to the specifications. The DPC Length parameter can take on the following values:
- 14 bits, in a format=3.8.3, for ITU variants
- 16 bits, in a format=7.4.5, for Japanese variants
- 24 bits, in a format=8.8.8, for ANSI and Chinese variants
