This page describes the steps required to copy a configuration within Toolpack web portal.

Note: This page assumes that you are using the Gateway application. If you are using your own application, you will be required to perform the same steps but for your plug-in.

Contents

Copy Configuration

  • Go to the Configuration menu.
  • Click on the Copy link of the configuration you wish to copy.
  • Enter the name of your new configuration.
  • Click the Copy button.
  • After a copy of your configuration has been created, click on the Configure Now link of your new configuration.

The following sections apply only to packages version 2.4 and earlier. The copy of the Gateway application is automatically done with packages 2.5 and more recent.

Create a new Gateway/Plug in application configuration

  • Go to the Gateway -> Configurations menu.
  • Click on the Create New Configuration link.
  • Complete the form. The Configuration should be set to the name of your new Configuration.
  • Don't forget to re-enable same behaviors
  • Don't forget to re-create all routes within the new configuration

Example:

 Name: gateway_config_3
 Bin Path: @{PKG_BIN}/gateway
 Working Path: ../gateway
 Configuration: config_3
  • Click the Create button.

Create a new Gateway/Plug in application instance

  • Go to the Config -> Applications-> Instances menu.
  • Click on the Create New Application Instance link.
