SPIROU (Système Pour l'Interconnexion des Réseaux OUverts) is a french (France) specification that regulates Telecommunication equipments that interconnect to France networks.

This specification is based on the ITU ISUP variant (Q.761-764)

It is mandatory for new equipments since January 1st 2001.

SPIROU is supported on branch 2.7 TMG-CONTROL version 2.7
