TelcoBridges' VoIP Gateway can be upgrade to:
- Increase Tmedia Capacities
- Get New Features/Enhancements
- Apply Fixes to Know Issues
The upgrade can be achieve by using 1 or more of the following methods:

Hardware Upgrades
When purchasing more capacities for a Tmedia, the unit may required additional VoIP hardware. Contact technical support for the hardware procedure.
Note: Only available for TMG3200-TE, TMG3200-DS3, TMG7800-TE, TMG7800-DS3 models.
License Upgrades
A license upgrade is required for 1 of these situations:
- Increasing the capacities/unlocking a signaling stack (i.e. add a new SS7 link)
- Upgrading to a new major version requires
- Extending the expiration date of a temporary license
- Convert an temporary license to a permanent license
Procedure
- Get the new license from the license server.
- Applied the new license using the web interface. (see the Tmedia upload license article for more information)
Software Upgrades
The software upgrades can be major or minor.
Major Software Upgrades
Major upgrades are necessary when a new feature is available to the Tmedia family (small features and enhancements doesn't count) and requires a license upgrades.
The Tmedia doesn't requires any major upgrades as of January 2011.
Minor Software Upgrades
Minor upgrades are useful to get new enhancements and bug fixes.
