MGCP is a communications protocol used by a softswitch or a media gateway controller to control a media gateway.
TelcoBridges and MGCP
TelcoBridges does not currently support the MGCP protocol in its line of Tmedia media gateways or Tdev value-added services development platform. Instead, TelcoBridges supports the H.248 protocol for controlling media gateways.
