Non-Facility Associated Signaling (or NFAS) is the ability for multiple T1 trunks to use a common signaling channel. Consequently NFAS enables the service provider to reduce the number of ISDN stacks required to provide service, as well as the number of D channels used, saving operating expenses in the process.

TelcoBridges and NFAS

At this time, TelcoBridges does not support NFAS in its product line. As of August 2009, it is actively considering NFAS as part of its product roadmap.
