The alarm (event) notification message is received by the host application when a MTP3 linkset is reporting an error.
General explanation of the fields of the event notification linkset alarm:
- The Linkset handle field specifies the handle of the MTP3 linkset instance
- The Alarm field indicates an alarm that can be reported at the linkset level. The following values are allowed:
Linkset Alarm | Description |
---|---|
Active | Linkset active |
Inactive | Linkset inactive |
NTT Abnormal | Linkset abnormal |
NTT Half-normal | Linkset half-normal |
NTT Normal | Linkset normal |
NTT Full-normal | Linkset full-normal |
- The Cause field specifies the alarm supplemental value according to alarm type
