Ethernet Bonding enables SBC and Tmedia units to use the two Ethernet ports as a bonding pair. When the active port becomes unusable (cable disconnected, limited connectivity), the other port is used to transport Ethernet traffic.

Note: Ethernet bonding can be configured on an SBC and a 7800-ctrl, but only when running these units are configured in a Bare Metal mode.
