The Start and End Digit parameters are only useful in an SCCP GTT Address Map with an action type in one of the following configurations:

  • FIX
  • VARIABLE_ASCENDING
  • VARIABLE_DESCENDING

These parameters are used to define the first and last digits from the SCCP Adress field that will be compared to the digits of transactions that could potentially be remapped through the translation table. Values for these parameters are entered into the fields labeled "Start Digit" and "End Digit".
