According to Wikipedia, STM-1 (also known as SDH or OC-3) is a standardized multiplexing protocol that transfers multiple digital bit streams over optical fiber using lasers or light-emitting diodes (LEDs) with a transmission speed of up to 155.52 Mbit/s.
TelcoBridges and STM-1
TelcoBridges provides support for STM-1 connectivity with its Tmedia (TMG3200, TMG5800, TMG7800), Tdev (TMP5900, TMP6400, TMP7900) and Tmonitor (TM3000) devices. This includes support for both electrical and optical variants.
TelcoBridges also provide support for Automatic Protection Switching.
