SPIROU

SPIROU (Système Pour l'Interconnexion des Réseaux OUverts) is a french (France) specification that regulates Telecommunication equipments that interconnect to France networks.

This specification is based on the ITU ISUP variant (Q.761-764)

It is mandatory for new equipments since January 1st 2001.

TelcoBridges and SPIROU

SPIROU is supported in special branch of 2.6 (2.6.68 to 2.6.73), and eventually on the main 2.6 branch. TMG-CONTROL version 2.6

It is also supported on branch 2.7 (starting with 2.7.18). TMG-CONTROL version 2.7

Configuration

  • SPIROU is enabled by selecting the appropriate ISUP userpart variant, and also by adjusting various parameters (in the profile for example) to match the behaviors required by SPIROU specifications.
