Supported operating systems
The following operating systems are supported by Toolpack. With each of these operating systems, Toolpack have pre-requisites that need to be installed to work properly. For Unix-based systems, it may involve replacing some standard packages with either custom packages or specific versions of packages which may change the original distribution.
It is strongly advised to follow the pre-requisite guides from the toolpack installation guides when installing an operating system that will host the Toolpack software suite.
CentOS
- CentOS 7 64-bit
- CentOS 5.7 32-bit

Important note: TelcoBridges offers RPM repositories with the appropriate packages and patches to run the Toolpack software suite. Although these repositories were originally based on the CentOS official distribution, the package additions and patches now make them specific to TelcoBridges. These are not endorsed nor supported by CentOS or any of its affiliate. Support and maintenance is done by TelcoBridges.
RedHat
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.7
RedHat has the same software as CentOS. CentOS distribution for Toolpack is also applicable for RedHat systems.
Debian
- Debian 4.0 64-bit

Windows
- Windows Server 2003
- Windows XP 32-bit
- Windows Vista 32-bit
- Windows server 2008 32-bit
The latest version of Windows can be acquired from http://www.microsoft.com
For developers we support:
- Visual studio 1998, msvc6 packages (or win32)
- Visual studio 2005, msvc8 packages
- Visual studio 2008, also msvc8 packages -> requires a recompilation of the tbcaf library (and libtbxpcrecpp)
Solaris
- Solaris 10 Intel 32-bit (Not supported on Toolpack 2.5 and up)
