TCAP:Sending transaction and dialogue portions

The transaction data send (request/response) message is used to add transaction and dialogue portions to a TCAP message. This message also activates TCAP message assembly and transmission to destination signaling point (peer TCAP/service user).


The transaction portion contains the following parameters:

  • TCAP userpart handle
  • TCAP transaction identifier
  • Message type identifier
  • End flag indicator
  • Calling address
  • Called address
  • Quality of service parameters
  • ISNI parameters
  • Message importance indicator


The dialogue portion contains the following parameters:

  • Dialogue parameters
  • User information buffer
